It was a pleasure working with Sonlight in the production of our school promotional video. To be able to do the shooting, and editing within two weeks and have the video copies to place in our prospective parents hands that fast was amazing.

We showed the video at a recent PTF meeting and received a tremendous response from our current parents. The video has also been placed on our website and is accessed daily by prospective parents and teachers. Many of our prospects who contact us have already viewed our video on-line at our web site. We now give our prospective parents a choice of having their mailing contain a video or a CD. Of course it is much more economical for us to mail a CD.

It is unbelievable that we were able to have the video made at less than half the cost of any local video production company estimate. The option of receiving a CD on video is one that was not offered to us by the other companies that we priced.

The most enjoyable part for me was the editing session there in Memphis. Corkey's Bar-B-Q was super. You folks sure treated me great and did a professional job and I would be happy to recommend Sonlight to anyone.

Purchasing a video from Sonlight Studios for our school recruitment program was the best thing we ever did. The old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words is so true. People are visual, and we can capture their attention and focus it on our schools. We can accomplish in a seven-minute video what would take an hour to convey in conversation.

David Webb and his team are easy to work with and exude an air of professionalism that gives your school confidence.

Whether they were working with our faculty, parents, or our students they helped them to relax and tell the story we wanted to tell to best depict our school. On a personal note, David and his crew love Jesus and are not ashamed to tell the Gospel Story wherever they go. David's brother is a Christian school administrator and understands the unique needs and desires associated with the presentation of our schools.

When one travels to Memphis for the edit session David does an excellent job of helping you pick out the best shots, while still allowing for your input so that you get the video you want. Usually one can leave town with a product to take home and show to the Board of Directors for approval. (The barbecue is also excellent!)

When you show this video it creates a sense of pride and gratefulness for what the Lord has done in your school. Everybody has loved it, people want to buy it and show it to their relatives and friends.

In the future, we will pick Sonlight to do our next recruitment and/or capital campaign video.

Working with David was wonderful. He was always very professional. He was kind and courteous to parents, faculty and the students. He always tried to do the taping without disrupting too many classes. David was always accommodating to what our desires were for the tape. Although, he offered his professional opinion we would allow us to make the final decisions. I would highly recommend David Webb to any school who would like to do a promotional video. Every school should have one!!

By the way, when you go to Memphis to do the editing. He treats you to the finest BBQ in Memphis!!

Dear School Administrators,

It truly is an honor to write to you and express our admiration for the work David Webb and Sonlight Studios has produced for us. David was recommended to us last winter as an excellent resource for a promotional school video -- especially for the editing work. We received sample copies of his work and enjoyed them thoroughly, then saw the very affordable cost
of producing a video. We were sold. We also appreciated the idea that part of the package was for us to go personally to his Memphis studio and be a part of the final product. That way we knew for certain that our particular message was going to be incorporated into the video.

David is a pleasure to work with. He has a wonderful sense of humor accompanied with a great work ethic and a professional manner. We were treated like family. We stayed close by the studio and had a good experience with our accommodations and even snuck in a little time to see Memphis. The rest of the time was work, work, and work. We were even invited to David's home for dinner and broke bread with his wife and children. I still e-mail him about once a month just to say hello. I guess we are family.

Since our video was finished last May we have given away about 400 to 500 of them. We give them to inquiring parents, alumni of the school and every school family received one to view and hopefully pass along to others. Everyone who has seen the video absolutely raves about it. They love the
professionalism of it and how it tells our story so clearly and concisely. Our video however, was a little different than anything else Sonlight Studios has ever done before. We not only had to show our programs and children, we had to "explain" what our classical curriculum was about. It was conveyed beautifully. You should get a copy and see for yourself!

We have not seen any downside to producing the video. I believe that once you have one however, you have to distribute it constantly. You can't sit on it. I have already given David's card out to many other schools in our area and just recently asked for more business cards to be forwarded -- I
ran out.

Thank you for the opportunity to share our satisfaction with the promotional video that you produced for Killian Hill Baptist Church and Christian School. As the senior pastor, I was a bit anxious about such a venture since our conservative approach to ministry was not looking for a lot of worldly glitz and glamour with an image and music that a family would not find after enrolling. Your work captured something of the facilities, faculty, and spirit of our school that could be presented with integrity and quality.

My Minister of Education, Paul Williams, and myself were impressed with the well equipped studio when we arrived for the editing session. Your own artistic, practical, and flexible manner was the key ingredient in producing the final product. It's hard to believe it's been almost 12 years since we first met and did the promotional video there at Jupiter Christian School. It goes without saying, the results that video, and all its edits, have generated for JCS down through the years has been phenomenal. Also, the one you did for us at University Christian School, back in January 1999, was a masterpiece! From the filming there at the school in Jacksonville to the editing process at your studio there in Memphis, everything was done professionally and with excellence and passion. Everytime time the video has been shown in my presence, I have always received a compliment on how well it was produced.

We used the promotional video both in the admissions process with parents and students, as well as in our recruiting of new faculty members. Our experience in the admissions process was basically this--show the video and sign up the student(s)! There was a very high correlation in parents viewing the video in the admissions office to parents actually enrolling their children in the school.

Of all the efforts I have made over the years in advertising and promoting the Christian schools I have been involved with, one of the most effective means has been through the promotional video! Thank you for introducing me to this valuable tool back at Jupiter Christian in 1989. I am equally grateful for the superior work you did for me at University. Your production process just seems to get better and better!
